The law of demand

Syllabus: Explain the negative causal relationship between price and quantity demanded.

The law of demand specifies that there is an inverse relationship between changes in price and changes in demand: If price increases demand will fall and if price decreases demand will rise.

You make think it a bit obvious and simple but make sure you can draw a fully labelled demand curve - it is a vital compnent of a market. BUT in IB answers you rarely if ever draw a demand curve on its own.
